A bunch of the stuff, instruments and fx, are the same. It's been a while since I used Logic 9 so my recollections may be off. So Logic users that use X and have seen Superior drummers new features what they think? Is Logic 10 just gonna mess up my older stuff and Ill have to run both or is it really so much better than 9? Thanks!!!! I mean are the days of 3rd party audio units and spending money on them worth it in Logic 10 or no? I think Im definitely going to upgrade Superior Drummer without question.Unless Logic 10 can do better.Or maybe Ill spend both for 400.but with the amps and Kemper Im buying things are getting tight. will Logic 10 mess up older tracks if I brought them in or just keep 9 (I like 9 with the Audio Units I work with).

Sure its only 200 bucks but I think Id rather get my upgrade from Superior Drummer 3 at half price because Ive been using it so long at it can do so much more now. Someone said, Logic 10 though has the ability built in to no longer need to bother with 3rd party stuff and they really copied what the other Audio Units are doing. It does have a nicer interface. But I didn't see anything more than just upgraded or changed synths etc. If someone heres says it blows it pout of the water and the drum kits are way better now and can do everything the new Superior Drummer 3 has fine but I think I may skip Logic 10. I can't make up my mind if I should even buy Logic 10 or not. My feeling is probably not as well as the new Superior Drummer. What I did hear is that it has improved its drum system drastically. Yeah, I may do both but I hear Logic 9 work imported into 10 is no good. SUPERIOR DRUMMER 3 looks awesome and I can upgrade for half the price where apple you just have to buy a new DAW with no upgrade its just a new program. Thats why I turned to a 3rd party for drums. And because I do my own stuff too on the side. I mean my drummer takes my beats and riffs and just makes them better but I like to almost write the entire song before we all start messing with a new tune before before practice.I hate Ultabeat (built into 9.Its just hip hop kits and thats it while the NEW SUPERIOR DRUMMER 3 that came out looks like you can now not only program the drums first in there more easily than the arrange window in the DAW and really even create your own kits off of other ones or improve them etc. Ok so Ive got these logic 9 files and Im considering upgrading to Logic 10 but I heard Id have to keep both because if I brought my logic 9 mixes into ten everything changes correct? Anyway I may not and just upgrade to Superior Drummer 3 (half price as upgrade right now) and it looks KILLER. I pretty much write the songs in my band and my bass player sometimes who has logic 9 and EZ drummer while I use Superior Drummer 2 pass stuff off between practice.
